OUR TRIBE
CADBURY
Arrived
in early 2007 from Western Australia is Cadbury a Chocolate point. What a cutie, and
great addition to the family.
Violet
is one of Kailah and Eric's kittens, an odd-eyed white,
born on the 23/10/05. A very
beautiful girl. Absolutely loves the cat run as you can see from this picture, dirty bits
everywhere, it is so hard to keep white cats white :-).
MIDNIGHT
Mr.
Midnight. He is our stud now.
From New South Wales, he is a beautiful boy with a personality to match his
lovely black coat
.
JAVERON BLONDIE
Blondie
is one of Kailah's babies, she was born in December, 2001. Not long after she
was born the vet found she had a heart murmur. It was not possible to say
how long she would live. Because of the commitment to the health of our
cats, we withdrew her from sale, and decided to keep her ourselves. The vet
desexed her
using a special anesthetic, and was as quick as possible so as not to strain her
heart during the op. She is full of cheek, and wont listen when told to
take it easy and slow down.
ERIC
Eric
was our first stud, a Red-silver tabby from New South Wales. Eric had overalls
so that he could come inside, he got used to his overalls very quickly. They allowed him to come
into the house without spraying everywhere.
Sadly Eric crossed over the rainbow bridge on 19th January 07. We will miss him.
He gave us lots of beautiful babies with Mariko and Kailah. More pictures of
Eric can be found here.
The
pattern for the overalls and also some stud pants can be found
here.
CHAMPION CHATPIXIE EMILY BRONTE
Kailah
was a beautiful white girl from New Zealand. Kailah loved a chat and adored John.
She was very loving, and a great mum.
Sadly we lost our beautiful Kailah to cancer on 12th August, 2006. We loved her
dearly, and miss her more than words can express. More pictures of Kailah can be
seen
here.

CHAMPION PIXIELAND MARIKO
Mariko
is a Seal-torti point from Victoria. Mariko has a quieter voice than Kailah and
tends to chirp instead of meow. She loves to sit on our shoulder and really
enjoys
walking with a harness. Our beautiful Mariko has now retired
and is living with our daughter Veronica.
MOLLY
Molly, a Lilac-torti tabby point. After many unsuccessful attempts to get Molly
pregnant, we came to the sad decision to rehome Molly. As we are only a small
cattery, and want to stay that way so that all our cats can have the love and
attention they deserve, we had no alternative. The good news is that Molly is
with a lovely lady who lost one of our kittens to complications after an
operation, and Molly is very loved and very happy.
PLAYDOH
Playdoh,
a black smoke was our first devon. Just before we were about to move, our Vet
asked if we had any older devon's looking for homes. As he was getting on a
bit, and we didn't want to subject him to a flight to Qld, we made the decision
to leave him in Melbourne. He is living the life of a king being spoilt rotten
and we thank Narelle and her family for giving him such a good home.
