ABOUT US
My name is Alison Thompson, my husband John and I are breeders of beautiful Devon Rex cats. We are small breeders and we have a couple of litters available per year. We are licensed with our local council, registered with the Queensland Feline Association, Australia, and I am a vet nurse.
Our breeding prefix is Javeron.
WE DO NOT USE CAGES
Our girls share our house, and have cat door access to an outside run. Our studs, have separate runs. Our kittens are born and raised in our home.
After having "moggies" and a Siamese we thought we might like a Devon. We found Playdoh, our first Devon through a "free to a loving home" add in the paper. He was all we had hoped a Devon would be, and we were very soon "hooked". Not long after we brought our beautiful blue eyed Mariko. Mariko was followed by our gorgeous white "kiwi" Kailah imported from the land of the long white cloud.
We then decided that we would like to get a stud cat and also open a boarding cattery. As it would be impossible to do this in our suburban block in Melbourne, we moved to a 2 acre property in Jimboomba, Queensland.
We set about making a cat run for our cats, and then purchased our stud, Eric, a red silver tabby. In 2005 we purchased a new boy Midnight, and in 2006 we have kept one of Kailah's babies - Violet to be a breeding queen.
At the beginning of 2007 after losing Eric, we purchased a Chocolate point - Cadbury
Late in 2003 we opened our boarding cattery - Paws A While cat boarding.
Unless otherwise noted, all pictures of Devon's on this site are of our current or previous cats and kittens.
